My prop work focuses on bridging the gap between digital design and physical reality. This process involves a wide exploration of everyday materials such as cardboard, foam, wood, hot glue, plastic bottles, and acrylic paint. By combining engineering principles with artistic vision, I construct intricate props that emphasize aesthetic precision as well as structural integrity. I also include my own interpretations when building my projects; although accuracy to a design is important, I love to pull out what makes a project unique and add twists that reflect my personality. Each project not only represents a journey of testing and building to bring complex, tactile concepts to life, but also my relationship with art.
